Loreley Visitors' Centre

On 26th May 2000, the Loreley Visitors' Centre in the Central Rhine valley was officially opened as part of the worldwide renowned EXPO 2000 projects. The centre which is located in the country park on the Loreley plateau focuses on the Central Rhine landscape and conveys a varied insight into the region. In the footsteps of the first Rhine tourists of the 19th century, you will explore the history, culture, nature and the myth of the Loreley. The Visitors' Centre is built without barriers and offers exemplary conditions for disabled visitors: parking spaces for wheelchair users, a level main entrance, step-free side entrance to the restored site, sanitary facilities with wheelchair access, a level access via ramp to the different exhibition gallery platforms, and level access to the "Myth of the Loreley" experience room.
